We're a family of four who believes life is best lived outside.

When we're not at The Surf Garden, you'll usually find us chasing adventures somewhere in the world with our two kids. Travel has become a huge part of our lives, and every place we visit teaches us something about what makes a stay truly memorable.

That's exactly what inspired this home.

We wanted to create the kind of place we'd love to find ourselves—a laid-back retreat where mornings start with coffee under the palms, afternoons are spent at the beach or by the pool, and evenings end with family dinners, laughter, and salty hair.

The backyard is the heart of The Surf Garden. It's our little tropical oasis and the place where we hope you'll spend most of your time. Whether your kids are building sand castles at the beach, you're grilling dinner after a day of surfing, or you're simply unwinding with a drink beneath the palms, we hope it feels like you've found your own little slice of Encinitas.
